Paula Allen is the global leader of research and total well-being at TELUS Health. In this role, she manages the research agenda for TELUS Health, which includes primary research, exploratory data science, research collaborations and meta-analyses. Her focus is on: discovering, defining and communicating industry trends; service development that aligns with emerging market needs; and supporting TELUS Health’s clients with insights and data-driven decision guidance. Allen is a well-recognized expert in all areas of workplace mental health, learning strategies, disability management and drug plan management.

Darryl Burton

Darryl Burton

AVP, Canadian & International Benefits and Well-being, TD Bank Group

Darryl Burton is a seasoned Human Resources leader with a proven track record of driving success. He's currently the Associate Vice President for Canadian and International Benefits and Well-being at TD Bank Group, where he oversees key programs that foster and enable TD's Culture of Care. In his ten years at TD, Darryl's also worked as a senior HR Business Partner for Technology and an AVP within Compensation Advisory.

Darryl's career path to leading Well-being at TD was both intricate yet logical. With a Music Education degree from the University of Toronto, Darryl has always been passionate about bringing out the best in people's talents. He's especially proud of the self-directed tools, counsellor-based programs, and benefits coverage his team designs and delivers to help our colleagues become even better than they are today.

Tanya Hickey

Tanya Hickey

Senior Manager, Health & Safety Strategies, Ontario Power Generation

Tanya Hickey holds a Master of Science specializing in Occupational Health & Safety from Columbia Southern University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from the University of Guelph. She is currently a manager in health and safety at Ontario Power Generation. Over her career Hickey has been accountable for providing direction around health and wellness solutions, employee assistance, and absence benefit supports to the organization through strategic planning, analysis, development, collaboration, management and evaluation of these programs that support employees across their entire health continuum. Over the last 14 years at OPG, she has lead the development and implementation of an award winning program based on leading industry practices.

Hickey is a strong believer that comprehensive organizational health, wellness, benefit, and support programs, that are inclusive and accessible, can inspire people to lead healthier, happier lives and be engaged in the workplace. Outside of work, she loves skiing, hiking, and biking with family and friends.
