Join TELUS Health and Ann Kuzee, Senior Legal Counsel for Absence and Disability Management, as she presents on the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) final regulation, which requires covered employers to provide a “reasonable accommodation” to a qualified employee’s or applicant’s known limitations related to, affected by, or arising out of pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions, unless the accommodation will cause the employer an “undue hardship.” The final rule and interpretive guidance implementing the PWFA is 408 pages long; there is a lot to learn, and this webinar will take you through the key points. A portion of the presentation will focus on the rules, and the other will focus on the application of those rules. The webinar will also explain connections to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The PWFA applies to both private and public sector employers (state and local governments) that have 15 or more employees. You will not want to miss this presentation, as it will help ensure you are up to date on the PWFA requirements to avoid potential non-compliance issues, and help you continue to effectively manage your leave programs and employees.

This webinar has been approved by SHRM, HRCI, and CPDM. CEU credits will be available.
