With the demands of work, family, and relationships, there are numerous aspects of life that require constant attention, which can sometimes feel overwhelming. We often feel the pressure to appear strong and in control, regardless of our true emotions, resulting in increased stress and anxiety.
Self-compassion is the practice of treating oneself with kindness, understanding, and acceptance, especially in times of difficulty, failure, or suffering. It involves extending the same compassion and empathy towards oneself that one would naturally offer to a close friend or loved one.
By prioritising self-compassion, you not only enhance your ability to care for others but also increase motivation and resilience. Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup.
Join us as our speakers explore the power of self-compassion and how organisations can use it to promote kindness, wellbeing and resilience.
- Self-kindness: How can organisations foster a culture where employees feel free to speak up and embrace failure?
- Common humanity: How can managers create a safe place by sharing their own experiences of failures and vulnerability?
- Mindfulness: How can employees incorporate mindfulness practices into their daily routines to enhance focus, reduce stress, and promote overall wellbeing?
